When you think of millionaires, you probably think of flashy rings, huge houses and luxurious cars. But that’s just a stereotype of Hollywood millionaires that feel the need to flaunt their success. Most millionaires in the United States worked extremely hard for the money they have and they like to be frugal with it so they can get more “bang for their buck.”
That is why you are likely to see many millionaires driving Toyota certified cars instead of brand new luxurious vehicles that cost two or three times as much. In addition to that, many millionaires consider the ridiculous depreciation that new cars suffer within minutes of being driven off the dealer’s lot. That is definitely not being frugal with one’s money! Here are a few more tidbits that you may not have known about your everyday millionaire:
• They exercise and eat right so they ca stay in good health. The fewer medical bills they need to pay, the more they can keep in their bank account.
• Most millionaires do not buy lottery tickets. They would rather use that money for investing in a high-yielding stock or mutual fund that has a good track record.
• They worked hard for the money they have. With the exception of a few lottery winners and people who inherited money, the typical millionaire worked hard for the money they have and it took them several years to reach the status where they are at right now.
Keep these rules in mind and maybe you can save enough money to become a millionaire one day.
