Do you want to make a commitment to being “greener” and helping the environment? If that’s you and you live in the Chicago area, you could win one of the most popular hybrid Toyota cars – the 2010 Prius!
The Partners for Clean Air and the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency are teaming up to sponsor a program designed to bring awareness to air pollution. The program, entitled “Green Pays on Green Days” giveaway, encourages local residents to take the initiative to battle air pollution. By agreeing to take an action that is eco-friendly, they are entered into a chance to win the hybrid Prius. Currently, there are 50 finalists eligible for the grand prize.
Chicago area residents can enter the contest by going to GreenPays.org and completing the online form. But hurry! The deadline for entering is September 15. The website will also give you a list of options to choose from to help reduce air pollution. The Prius grand prize was donated by Your Chicagoland Toyota Dealers.
“Everyone can play a role in reducing air pollution in our communities,” said Douglas Scott, director of the Illinois EPA. “Little changes in behavior go a long way towards improving air quality and protecting our children.”
